Reiki Energy Healing with Reiki Mindfulness
What is Reiki?
Reiki is Japanese energy healing technique used to help with relaxation and stress reduction as well as help in promoting healing in the person who receives it. The word Reiki means "universal life energy", a natural energy that can be found in all living things. Reiki is a safe and simple way of bringing holistic wellbeing for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of a person. As Reiki is a completely natural form of healing it can support and enhance other forms of treatment.
What happens in a Reiki session from Reiki Mindfulness?
The client is fully clothed and simply lays down and relaxes on a couch. The Reiki Mindfulness therapist will take you through a short meditation which will help you relax before offering each of the 7 main chakras in the body Reiki energy by placing the hands close to the body. The practitioner will then ground you through the knees, ankles and feet before guiding you back to present moment awareness. There is no massage or manipulation of the body during the treatment. At the first session you will be taken through a wellbeing question so that the Reiki Master Teacher from Reiki Mindfulness can understand your intention for Reiki.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki brings more balance, harmony, and a sense of wellbeing. Reiki is a holistic therapy that anyone may benefit from, at any point in their life, when provided by a trained Reiki Master Teacher. As Reiki is a holistic treatment the benefits are broad and range from a deep relaxation to stress and anxiety relief. Reiki often also helps with sleep, mental clarity and focus and can also support the self-healing power of the immune system. Many have also found it to be a useful complement to talking therapies, physiotherapy and significant life changes.
