Personal Needs


Modern life, work pressures, long hours, home responsibilities, not being able to say no, children, parents, family, mortgage, in fact everything determines that we have little or no time for ourselves.


As mentioned earlier, keep a diary of your normal busy week and ascertain how much time is devoted to your own needs and not to your boss, your workers, your spouse, your partner and your children.  When was the last time you actually made a space for yourself in your own diary?  Is this every day?  Every week? Or not at all?  Where in your diary do you find one to two hours each day for yourself?  Have you identified that this is what is known as keeping a balance to your work, leisure and general lifestyle.


A primary objective is now the 'achieving and maintaining a healthy life balance'.
