Chiropractic care is focused on helping you move more comfortably and confidently in everyday life. Whether you are dealing with aches and stiffness, recovering from an injury, managing an ongoing problem or simply finding that certain movements are becoming more difficult, treatment is tailored to you and your individual needs.

Your care may include hands-on chiropractic treatment alongside gentle exercise, movement advice and practical guidance to support your recovery. The aim is not only to address the problem you are experiencing now, but also to help you better understand your body and the things you can do to support your movement, strength and mobility over time.

Every patient is different, so treatment is based around your goals, lifestyle and what matters most to you. Whether that means returning to work or exercise, getting back to a favourite hobby or simply feeling more comfortable during day-to-day activities, chiropractic care can form part of a personalised plan to help you keep moving forward.

Dr Maleeka Patel-Pandya (DC)

Chiropractor

Maleeka is a qualified chiropractor with a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger and understand their bodies with confidence. She takes a patient-centred, evidence- based approach to care, combining chiropractic treatment with joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, exercise rehabilitation and tailored lifestyle advice to help each patient achieve their individual goals.

Chiropractic first became a part of Maleeka’s life at just 15 years old, following a sporting injury that prevented her from participating in the activities she loved. After being told she may require spinal surgery and might not be able to play sport again, chiropractic and rehabilitation offered her another path. Through her own recovery, Maleeka was able to return to the sports and activities she enjoyed, inspiring her to pursue a career in chiropractic and help others experience the same sense of recovery and confidence.

Maleeka graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2023, turning a dream she had carried since the age of 15 into reality. Her own experience of injury has shaped her approach to patient care, giving her an understanding of how frustrating it can be when pain or movement limitations interfere with work, exercise, sport and everyday life. She recognises that effective care involves looking beyond symptoms and considering the physical, psychological and lifestyle factors that can influence pain and recovery.

Maleeka treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, headaches and migraines, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand problems, hip and pelvic pain, knee pain, foot and ankle conditions, muscle strains and sprains, sports injuries and nerve- related symptoms such as radiating pain, pins and needles and numbness. She also has a particular interest in jaw and TMJ problems, as well as supporting women with musculoskeletal changes during pregnancy.

Her approach combines a range of treatment techniques with education and exercise rehabilitation, ensuring care is tailored to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Maleeka aims to help patients not only feel better, but understand their symptoms, build confidence in their bodies and develop the tools they need to manage their health and movement beyond the treatment room.
