What is Meet Yourself Meditation (MYM)?

Meet Yourself Meditation (MYM) trains your mind to focus within, thus raising awareness of your inner state (emotions, thoughts, experiences), and your inherent connection to the source of consciousness itself. The aim of MYM is to form a bridge between the conscious and subconscious minds, allowing you to access the ‘hidden’ parts of the self. Positive Energy Healing is used to facilitate this.


Meet Yourself Meditation (MYM) is part 2 of Meet Yourself Therapy (MYT) and can be practised and learned separately from MYT.


How can MYM help?

Meet Yourself Meditation (MYM) offers a proven way to get in touch with your thoughts, and understand how they influence your actions, responses and feelings. Once you gain this understanding, you can release yourself from negative feelings and responses, get in touch with who you really are, and achieve an authentic and creative life.

MYM thus serves as a mirror, in which one can see and recognise one’s ‘real self’ – under the layers of accumulated fears, conditionings and acquired personality traits. MYM allows us to gradually expose the parts of ourselves which we may have been denying, release any associated destructive emotions, and start to heal as we accept those parts of our self.

What is unique about MYM?


For many people, achieving the meditative state can be challenging. The mind may keep drifting, engaging with thoughts, or dozing off. During MYM energy healing is sent to the people meditating, to clear the energy of suppressed emotions and fears (manifesting as ‘mind chatter’), and make it easier to achieve the meditative state, and to maintain focus. Each person receives individual attention, and is encouraged to ‘meet their self’ by visualising or feeling whatever surfaces from the subconscious mind. With this increased awareness they can then choose to constructively eliminate fears, limiting beliefs and weaknesses; and to find solutions to the challenges they face in life.


Both Tasneem and Naheed are qualified practitioners and teachers of MYM. The Ultimate Aim of MYM is to support people in achieving inner peace and compassionate interactions with others, thus promoting a spirit of brotherhood and world peace.

Tasneem is an award winning, accredited Healer with over 20 years of experience, practising and teaching Healing and Meditation in the UK and abroad, including Scandinavia, South America. She has also worked in GP Practices in the UK.





Naheed Ali


Naheed is a part-time dentist, qualified from Guy’s Hospital, London. Her passion for personal development and helping others led her to train as an NLP Practitioner, and as a Personal Performance Coach and Youth Coach for which she received distinctions.
